My husband and I were married at de Vine Vineyards in September, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The winery staff were very knowledgable and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. They directed us to an amazing caterer, whose food was one of the highlights of the day and which went perfectly with the superb wines offered to our guests.
From the planning stages to the final wrap-up, de Vine’s staff made sure that our experience was tailored to our needs, and they made every step as easy as possible for ourselves, our families, and our guests. Always friendly, kind and caring, we are so lucky to have this family in our community! De Vine Everything! Not only are the wines delicately hand crafted to perfection, the selections are a treat to be savoured, sipped and swirled. The black and blue is a must try and new this year. The vintage syrah, is second to none and the Gru V, delightful. The view from the winery takes in Mount Baker and the ocean. Cheers Ryan W. We visited de Vine vineyards and were hosted by owner Ryan Windsor in the tasting room after ‘drinking’ in the views. It is terrific and we now have a case minus two racked in our cellar. It is one of the best kept secrets on the Saanich Peninsula but they make quality products and serve them up in great ambience. They will be taking over some of the products from vineyards of the soon-to-be closed Starling Lane winery and, in addition, are making a blackberry port from local berries from the Tsartlip band land.
Well worth a visit and take a picnic lunch. Go for the views. Great hideaway atop a hill near butchart gardens. Tasting of wine, gin, and vermouth.
