We arrive vancouver island late on Saturday night. As Sunday is Canada Day will supermarkets and restaurants be open? Anything we should especially try and do on Canada Day on Vancouver island – we are staying in sidney? Supermarkets and restaurants will be open,some of the Supermarkets limit their hours a little bit. You could join the celebration of our great country,I’m not sure if Sidney will have anything going on but the Inner Harbour area sure will.
Any other recomendations most appreciated. Sidney will have lots going on. It’s Sidney Days. They have a parade on Sunday and their own fireworks on Saturday night. Here’s a link to a list of all the activities:.
There are fireworks at the Inner Harbour at pm on Canada Day! Get there early if you want a comfy seat! There is transport to Tofino from Victoria called Tofino bus and the typical Greyhound.
