The Agribusiness AGRI Committee aspires to address issues and policies concerning the Philippine agricultural scene by bringing in key stakeholders to strengthen technological resources to advance agribusiness in the country. The Creative Industries CI committee pursues to develop and bring together the growing industries devoted to creativity, design, and innovation.
Furthermore, the committee intends to give value to the importance of multi-media knowledge and information as a form of economy in the Philippines. It helps bridge education initiatives with business requirements showcasing different models for collaboration between the education and business sectors. The committee will also conduct events to bring together universities, international schools, placement agencies, educators, students, and other relevant stakeholders.
The Energy and Power EP Committee provides an avenue to discuss and disseminate relevant information on matters affecting the energy sector and its stakeholders. It also seeks to contribute to the development of the sector by promoting sound policy positions on proposed legislations for the common interest of the business community.
The Environment and Urban Development EUD Committee fosters a constructive partnership among business community, Government, and other stakeholders to promote best environmental practices from AmCham community and improve regulatory framework to support sustainable development of communities and businesses. It also serves as a communications channel on environmental concerns for the AmCham membership as well as a platform for the community to engage and promote environmental sustainability and development goals.
It also includes discussions on banking system and currency, monetary policies, international finance, and financial literacy. The Healthcare and Wellness HW Committee continuously supports health and wellness programs and efforts from both the public and private sectors, keeping in mind the importance of a healthy population in nation-building. The committee also brings pertinent, up-to-date medical information to promote awareness to members.
The Human Capital and Resources HCR Committee endeavors to develop better understanding of the Philippine industrial relations system for improved company operations, as well as for the betterment of the overall work force. The committee also monitors and advocates labor-related issues of the AmCham membership. It also shares information on activities and policies of the ICT sector with members involved in the industry.
The committee also aims to address issues related to freight forwarding and logistics management. It also monitors the progress of key legislation, executive orders, and implementing rules and regulations concerning the AmCham membership.
